Acharya Nagarjuna University has announced admissions for the 2026–27 academic year and introduced new courses through its university colleges and affiliated institutions. The university has also issued notifications regarding admissions and academic regulations for the new session.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has not yet declared the NEET UG 2026 results. The provisional answer key has been released, and candidates are currently allowed to challenge it. The objection window closes on 28 June 2026. After reviewing all objections, the NTA will publish the final answer key followed by the NEET UG 2026 results.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the NEET UG 2026 re-examination on 21 June 2026 under enhanced security arrangements. The examination was held across thousands of centres nationwide, including centres in Andhra Pradesh, for candidates affected by the cancellation of the earlier exam. Officials reported that the re-examination was completed peacefully, with no complaints of question paper leaks during the conduct of the test. Students from Guntur District who appeared for the examination are now eagerly awaiting the release of the provisional answer key and the NEET UG 2026 results. The NTA is expected to publish the answer key, OMR response sheets, and the window for objections before announcing the final results and counselling schedule.

The Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS), Nidamarru, in Mangalagiri constituency, has been transformed into an International Model Government School under the initiative of Andhra Pradesh Education Minister and Mangalagiri MLA Nara Lokesh. The project, developed with an investment of approximately ₹15 crore, has significantly upgraded the school’s infrastructure and learning environment. The campus now features modern classrooms, digital learning facilities, science and computer laboratories, a well-equipped library, smart classrooms, improved sanitation facilities, landscaped surroundings, and sports infrastructure. The transformation aims to provide government school students with facilities comparable to those available in leading private schools. Following the redevelopment, the school has seen a sharp rise in admissions, with increasing demand from parents seeking quality education in a government institution. During a review meeting, Nara Lokesh cited the success of the Nidamarru school as a model for improving government schools across Andhra Pradesh and directed officials to replicate similar standards in other institutions.
